Liver Fibrosis Assessment (Elastography)

Liver fibrosis assessment using Elastography or FibroScan is a modern, painless, and non-invasive method of measuring liver stiffness. It helps determine the degree of liver fibrosis and cirrhosis without requiring a liver biopsy.

This test is commonly recommended for patients with fatty liver disease, chronic hepatitis B or C, elevated liver enzymes, or long-standing liver disease. Results are available immediately and the procedure takes only a few minutes.
